Emma Watkins’ Apricot Sea production company and Toronto-based Headspinner Productions have teamed up to produce the new preschool series Emma Memma: Sing. Dance. Sign.

Six months since Watkins’ departure from The Wiggles, audiences are set to be introduced to the live-action version of Emma Memma. An extension of and the creative expression of Watkins, Emma Memma will feature singing, dancing and sign language, putting visual communication front and center.

Watkins said: “Apricot Sea is truly delighted to be collaborating with Michelle and Ken from Headspinner on this exciting new chapter bringing Emma Memma to life. Headspinner’s ethos perfectly aligns with Apricot Sea, and we look forward to showcasing our creative expression together in an authentic, inclusive and engaging partnership.”

Michelle Melanson, president of Headspinner Productions, added: “We are thrilled to be partnering with Apricot Sea, Emma and her team on this incredible and important brand. Emma Memma is already off to an amazing start, and we can’t wait to continue to grow her fanbase and brand with all new music videos and the full series to come.”
