Apple TV+ and Sinking Ship Entertainment have teamed for Jane’s Endangered Animal Experience, a museum exhibit based on their upcoming Jane Goodall-inspired series Jane.

The new series, debuting April 14, follows a 9-year-old budding environmentalist on her quest to save endangered animals with the help of her best friends David and Greybeard the chimpanzee. The accompanying museum exhibit will open at the California Science Center in Los Angeles and the Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh in April.

Jane’s Endangered Animal Experience gives visitors the opportunity to learn about the North American honeybee, including its contributions to the environment and the challenges it is facing. Visitors will be able to fly in a replica of Jane’s high-tech pod vehicle, collecting pollen and evading predators just as she and her friends do in the series. The exhibit is produced in partnership with Flying Fish Exhibits.

A companion book for the series, Jane’s Endangered Animal Guide, will also be released this spring. It will include facts, adventures and scale comparisons to bring readers up close with some of the most endangered animals.

The series comes from Emmy Award winner J.J. Johnson (Dino Dana, Endings, Ghostwriter) and Sinking Ship Entertainment, in connection with the Jane Goodall Institute.
