Another Season of Girl Meets World for Disney Channel

BURBANK: Disney Channel has ordered a third season of Girl Meets World, a comedy series created by Michael Jacobs and April Kelly.

Girl Meets World follows the adventures of Riley, the teenage daughter of the main characters from Boy Meets World, and her best friend Maya. The show, made by It’s a Laugh Productions and Michael Jacobs Productions, stars Rowan Blanchard, Sabrina Carpenter, Ben Savage, Danielle Fishel, August Maturo, Peyton Meyer and Corey Fogelmanis. The third season is slated to begin production in Los Angeles in January. It will debut on Disney Channel in spring 2016.
