ABC Kids’s Preschool App Launches for Android Tablets

SYDNEY: ABC Kids’s preschool app, ABC Kids Play, has become available for download for Android tablets via Google Play.

The ABC Kids Play app rolled out on iOS devices last July, and since then has been downloaded more than 225,000 times. ABC Kids iview is already available for preschool kids to download onto their Android tablets. The ABC Kids iview and ABC Kids Play apps have become the most downloaded Australian-made children’s apps to date, with both remaining in the top ten within the kids’ category since their launch.

Rebecca Heap, ABC’s head of TV strategy and digital products, said: “We’re thrilled with how well ABC Kids Play has been received so far and pleased it is now available to even more families. The success of the ABC Kids Play and ABC Kids iview apps is testament to the trust that Australian families have put in the ABC to educate and entertain their children.”
