MIP LONDON Unveils Full Kids & Teens Summit Lineup

MIP LONDON’s half-day program Kids & Teens Summit, taking place on February 24 in The Savoy’s Lancaster Ballroom, will feature executives from YouTube, BBC, Banijay Kids & Family, 8 Lions Entertainment and more, with Jo Redfern, owner of Futrhood Media, moderating.

Highlights of the program include a panel examining how media and YouTube can collaborate to build communities, grow and deliver trusted, high-quality programs. It will feature Mairi Brewis, head of YouTube media partnerships in the U.K., and Patricia Hidalgo, director of BBC Children’s & Education.

Two exclusive insight and data presentations—from Cyrine Amor, research manager of commissioning at Ampere Analysis, and Candice Alessandra, international research director at Glance—will focus on shifting viewing behaviors, platform usage and commissioning strategies.

A State of the Industry discussion will bring together Hidalgo; Delphine Dumont, chief commercial officer of Banijay Kids & Family; Raphaël Séjourné, founder and producer of Salgoss Productions; and Marcus Holmström, executive chairman of The Gang. They will cover topics such as adaptation, resilience and future opportunities.

A producer, distributor and creator-led focus on funding, monetization and sustainable business models will feature Helen Howells, joint managing director of Hoho Entertainment; Nico Lockhart, managing director of TeamFalco; Jiella Esmat, CEO of 8 Lions Entertainment; Lionel Marty, managing director and co-founder of Madgic Distribution/Zephyr Animation, with John Reynolds, founder of Flip Side Media as moderator.

Also, a Roblox-focused session on the potential extended life and relevance of IP in immersive environments will be led by Andrew Bereza, director of business development at Twin Atlas.

A speed matchmaking session will also bring together various buyers, producers, platforms and distributors.
