Backyard Sports Special YouTube Premiere Date

Backyard Sports: The Animated Special will premiere exclusively on the Backyard Sports YouTube channel on January 29.

The special is written by Joe Purdy and directed by Mike Roberts. It is executive produced by Chris Waters, Lindsay Barnett, Avi Savitski and Ari Pinchot, with Phil Crain serving as the line producer. Animation production is handled by Lighthouse Studios, with original music by Jonny Shorr.

The new special features an ensemble voice cast led by Tiffany Haddish, Chris Mintz-Plasse, Donald Faison and Ego Nwodim.

They are joined by Ashleigh Crystal Hairson, Adam Pally, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Arturo Castro, Deborah Baker Jr, Michael Vlamis and Lindsay Barnett, CEO of Playground Productions.

With just 30 minutes until game time, the Backyard kids embark on a wild, time-sensitive mission to track it down and save their season. The Backyard crew returns with updated animation, classic humor and the same charm from the original games.
