Video Interview: WondLa’s Andrew L. Schmidt

The third and final season of Apple TV’s WondLa adaptation, based on Tony DiTerlizzi’s The Search for WondLa trilogy of books, bowed on the streamer in November. The series centers on Eva, a human teenager raised by a robot caretaker who finds herself on a strange planet inhabited by aliens.

In season three, war finally breaks out between humans and aliens, and with the planet of Orbona’s fate hanging in the balance, Eva embarks on her most dangerous mission yet. In order to save the planet, she must bridge the two worlds.

In this video interview, supervising director Andrew L. Schmidt tells TV Kids Weekly about working with DiTerlizzi throughout the series and what he hopes kids take away from this season and, in particular, the final episode.
