Sinking Ship Entertainment Scores Raft of International Sales

Sinking Ship Entertainment has secured a slew of international sales for six of its series, including Superbuns, Phoenix Rise and Dino Dex.

“It’s no secret that the kids’ market has faced real constraints recently,” said Kate Sanagan, head of distribution. “Our teams and creative partners have worked incredibly hard to deliver standout series, and it’s gratifying to see broadcasters and platforms continue to support and invest in that work. It’s proof that meaningful stories for young audiences still matter, and we’re proud to be building them.”

Superbuns, created by Emmy-winning writer/director Diane Kredensor, has been picked up by ABC Australia for ABC Kid sand ABC iview for a launch in Q1 2026. The Australian broadcaster also acquired Media Stamped.

In Europe, RTL Netherlands licensed the tween/teen series Phoenix Rise to bring the school drama to Dutch audiences for the first time. Prime Video Germany, meanwhile, bought the rights to air Dino Dex.

Canada’s CBC picked up seasons one and two of Dino Dana and Odd Squad: Mobile Unit for CBC Gem. Both titles were originally commissioned by TVOkids in Canada.
