Tales from 123 Leads Sesame Workshop’s MIPCOM Highlights

Sesame Workshop is attending MIPCOM with its new animated series Tales from 123, taking viewers inside the famous brownstone from Sesame Street.

“For over 50 years, Sesame Street has brought joy to kids and adults around the world,” says Kay Wilson Stallings, executive VP and chief creative development and production officer. “With beloved characters like Elmo, Cookie Monster, Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch, Sesame Street has become a standard bearer for early childhood storytelling through carefully researched educational content.”

Other titles on Sesame Workshop’s slate are Mecha Builders, which transforms Elmo, Cookie Monster and Abby Cadabby into robot heroes-in-training who use STEM powers to solve problems, and Sesame Street: The Nutcracker, which reimagines the Christmas tale in the world of Sesame Street.

Sesame Street reaches children and families wherever they are—across streaming and video-sharing platforms, interactive apps, themed entertainment experiences, classrooms and direct services in homes and communities,” she adds.

“We remain committed to partnering with innovative, mission-aligned organizations, licensees and distributors who can amplify our message and ensure local relevance,” Wilson Stallings notes. “Looking ahead, we’re celebrating exciting milestones and expanding our global presence—from the 30th anniversary of Tickle Me Elmo in 2026 to activations at premier sporting events around the world and so much more.”
