Corus to Shutter Five Kids’ Networks

Corus Entertainment will cease distribution of ABC Spark, Nickelodeon, Disney French (La Chaine Disney), Disney XD and Disney Jr. in September.

The five channels cease to be available on September 1. Corus will continue to operate Disney Channel across linear and streaming.

A Corus spokesperson said the company “regularly reviews its portfolio of channels to ensure we are meeting the evolving needs of our audiences and distribution partners.”
