Top Buyers to Take Part in TV Kids Festival

ITV’s Darren Nartey, Paramount’s Lynsey O’Callaghan, Amazon’s Monica Sharma and YLE’s Vicky Schroderus will share their acquisition strategies and wish lists during the TV Kids Festival, taking place from February 4 to 7. You can register here for free.

The session will feature Nartey, senior acquisitions manager for films and kids for broadcast at ITV; O’Callaghan, senior director of Nickelodeon international acquisitions and current series at Paramount Kids and Family; Sharma, head of video business development of Amazon Kids+; and Schroderus, senior executive in charge of international co-productions and acquisitions for children and youth at YLE in Finland. The executives will discuss the role of acquired programming on their channels and platforms and what they’re looking for to add to their slates.

They join previously announced participants: Mattel’s Josh Silverman, Super RTL’s Dominique Neudecker, 9 Story’s Vince Commisso, Boat Rocker’s Jon Rutherford, Ampere’s Olivia Deane and Carl the Collector creator Zachariah OHora. Look for more announcements in the coming week.

Unlike other events requiring hefty registration fees, attendance to the TV Kids Festival is FREE. The previous TV Kids Festival attracted close to 2,000 participants.
