Superprod & Vivement Lundi ! Producing Harrison and me

Superprod Group and Vivement Lundi ! have begun production on the ecology series Harrison and me for France Télévisions.

Loosely based on The Zero Waste Family books by Bénédicte Moret and Jérémie Pichon, the series follows as Harrison, an organic and vegetal being, comes to the home of young Charlie and Zach. By welcoming and caring for Harrison, they discover how to act for the planet in their daily lives and reconnect with nature.

The 52×11-minute series is aimed at 5- to 8-year-olds but has appeal for the whole family. It is being directed by Jean Duval and Abdelraouf Zaidi. The screen story was imagined by Aurélie Angebault and Camille Serceau, with the participation of Nathalie Dargent and Matthieu Chevalier.

France Télévisions will broadcast Harrison and me, as will RTS and TV5. Superights is handling international sales.

Jean-Baptiste Lamotte, head of children’s programming and animation at France Télévisions, said, “Having a good friend is great. When it’s Harrison, it’s even better! Follow the journey of a family as original as they are sensitive to the environmental cause, and do as Zach [and] Charlie do: reconnect with nature! Harrison and me questions our relationship with nature [and] helps us to adopt the right eco-citizen gestures.”
