Big Bad Boo Preps Galapagos X

Galapagos X, a new original animated series from Big Bad Boo Studios, has been commissioned by the Canadian broadcasters TVOKids, SRC Radio-Canada, Knowledge Kids and TFO.

Galapagos X focuses on climate change and centers on a group of four life science explorers and their blue-footed booby bird, who come to the present from a future that has taken the wrong turn. It is directed by Shabnam Rezaei, president of Big Bad Boo Studios.

In the series, Orchid, Zeph, Oshie and Rae set off on adventures to solve environmental problems. Big Bad Boo will develop an interactive virtual reality component for Galapagos X that will enable its audience to explore different ecosystems in addition to creating a traditional TV series and digital storybook.

Rezaei said: “With Galapagos X, we hope to give kids fun stories, lots of comedy and practical, everyday tips on ways to prevent future environmental disasters from happening.”
