Mouk Set for Summer Debut on Semillitas

Semillitas, SomosTV’s 24-hour Spanish-language animation channel for toddlers and preschoolers, has added to its lineup Mouk, an educational series that showcases cultures from around the world.

The show is set to bow on the network on July 1. Mouk follows the titular bear and his friend Chavapa as they travel around the world showing the traditions, landscapes, dishes and typical music of the different countries they visit. The show aims to promote cultural diversity and teach kids geography.

The series also promotes the values of friendship, as well as the curiosity to know other individuals and places in a respectful way. Australia, Madagascar, Greece, India and Mexico are some of the countries that the two characters visit.

Produced by Milimages Studios and directed by Marc Boutavant, Mouk has been broadcast in Canada, the U.S., Russia, the Philippines, Singapore, Brazil, the U.K., Spain and Australia, among other countries.
