Universal Kids Adds Two New Series to Unscripted Slate

Universal Kids is expanding its unscripted slate with two new series in development—Top Chef Junior: Remix and Create the Escape.

Produced by Magical Elves, Top Chef Junior: Remix is a Top Chef Junior spin-off that sees three talented kid cooks and bakers facing off in two rounds of competition. Fan favorite Top Chef and Top Chef Junior special guests will serve as mentors and judges and lend a helping hand to the competitors. Each episode features a unique theme and fun culinary challenges.

Create the Escape, created by Universal Kids, features a trio of kids that designs and builds an escape room from scratch in each episode, with a host and design experts offering assistance. When it’s finished, the kids’ family members, teachers or guest celebrities will try to escape the room.
