Silvergate Hires for EMEA Push

LONDON: Silvergate Media has appointed Lisa Macdonald as the VP of Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

In her new role, Macdonald will manage Silvergate’s business across the EMEA region, including broadcast sales, secondary licensing and brand partnerships. Macdonald joins Silvergate from Sanrio, where she led the growth of the Mister Men property across EMEA and beyond. She previously worked at Chorion, expanding the company’s brands in key European territories.

Silvergate produces the preschool adventure series Octonauts. The company also controls the global licensing rights for the classic Peter Rabbit and TV Peter Rabbit property, and it has a growing development slate of new productions, including Sunny Day and Hilda.
