LONDON: The online streaming service NOW TV is slated to launch the NOW TV Kids Pass this summer, offering access to a variety of children’s television content for a monthly fee.

The NOW TV Kids Pass will allow children to watch six dedicated live television channels, as well as thousands of episodes and box sets on demand from Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., NickToons, Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Cartoonito, CBeebies, CBBC and Milkshake! Kids will be able to view such series as SpongeBob SquarePants, Paw Patrol, The Powerpuff Girls, Adventure Time and The Amazing World of Gumball whenever they choose. Later this year, episodes of Aardman Animations’s Morph will become available.

The NOW TV Kids Pass includes a special immersive user interface, with picture-led navigation, next episode auto-play and parental controls, among other features. It will become available for purchase on June 21 without a contract and comes with a free two-week trial. The launch sees Nickelodeon, Nick Jr. and Disney Channel move out of the NOW TV Entertainment Pass.

Gidon Katz, the director of NOW TV, commented: “We want to make sure that everyone in the family gets the best entertainment experience possible, and that includes our younger viewers. We’ve created a vibrant, engaging world just for kids, so finding an episode of Dora the Explorer will be almost as fun as watching it. By creating a separate enhanced NOW TV Kids Pass, our customers have even more choice when it comes to selecting the shows that are right for them, all with no contract.”
