Twofour Rights has inked a deal for a duo of format commissions with Russian free-to-air broadcaster Channel One.

The deal for the rights to What Would Your Kid Do? and Change Your Tune marks Twofour’s first format sale in Russia. Production for both of the eight-part series will commence shortly and broadcast is scheduled for later this year.

Since the series’ launch in 2018, What Would Your Kid Do? has been commissioned in nine territories, including Belgium, Turkey, Hungary, Serbia, Canada and India. The format sees parents guess how their children would behave in given classroom and real-world situations. Season two begins in the U.K. this spring, with comedian Jason Manford returning to host.

Change Your Tune is one of Twofour’s musical-game-show formats, seeing five terrible singers compete in live performances that aims to help them “change their tune.”

Eniela Bella, VP of sales for EMEA, Latin America and Canada at Twofour Group, said: “To have one format commissioned in a territory is a delight, but we are thrilled to have two commissioned at once. They are very different formats but with an obvious global appeal, and there’s lots more to come from these in the future.”
