Vivendi’s Couple or Not? Commissioned by C8 in France

LONDON/PARIS: French network C8 has commissioned the original game show format Couple or Not? from Vivendi Entertainment.

The 40×40-minute first season of Couple or Not? will launch next spring. Each episode sees a pair of contestants attempt to identify six couples in order to win a large sum of money. The more couples the contestants correctly identify, the more money they win. The format was created by Vivendi Entertainment, which handles international sales. The show is produced by Flab Prod.

Arnaud Renard, Vivendi Entertainment’s executive VP of creative affairs, said, “I strongly believe in Couple or Not?’s global appeal. The [premise] is simple to understand, the game fun to play, the show entertaining to watch.”

Matthieu Porte, Vivendi Entertainment’s executive VP of international and development, added, “Here is another fun and suspenseful non-quiz game show with universal appeal which greatly complements Guess My Age, the game show we released earlier this year, which is probably 2016’s fastest-selling format.”
