Global Agency has struck a deal that sees France’s Anytime Production acquire the reality game show Upgrade.

The out-of-studio game show goes into viewers’ homes and offers them the chance to upgrade their old household items by answering trivia questions. It has been broadcast in more than 45 territories around the world, including Norway, China, India, Brazil, Peru, Denmark, Canada, Russia and Spain.

The format is owned by the Israeli production company Tanin Productions & TV.

Gili Golan, founder of Tanin Productions & TV, said: “Our worldwide successful format is going to France, Monaco, Switzerland and Canada soon, and we are sure that the ratings will be high like it has been all around the world. It’s about time that the French people will enjoy our wonderful Upgrade.”

A representative from Anytime Production said: “For Anytime Production, Upgrade is a wonderful family format that will definitely find its place in the programming schedule of a French broadcaster, and this thanks to the perfect collaboration with Global Agency.”
