Global Agency Reveals The Mashup at Realscreen

Global Agency’s newest original format, The Mashup, will premiere at the Realscreen Summit in Miami on February 3.

“This is the project I have believed in the most since the day I founded the company,” said Izzet Pinto, creator of the series and CEO of Global Agency. “I am incredibly excited to unveil its world premiere in Miami. The TV industry has been looking for a strong, fresh music talent format for a long time, and I truly believe the timing is exactly right.”

The Mashup is a new music competition where duos merge two contrasting songs into one live performance, blending genres, eras and styles in bold and unexpected ways.

“Our first objective is to produce the format in the U.S. with a major studio and one of the leading broadcast networks, followed by a broader international expansion, starting with Europe,” Pinto continued. “I strongly believe this format will become a major global franchise; whoever comes on board early will win big. I see The Mashup as our masterpiece.”
