Dutch broadcaster Net5, part of SBS Group in the Netherlands, has commissioned a second season of Twofour’s format The Diner.

The 6×1-hour sophomore season will be produced by Vincent TV Producties and was ordered while season one was still airing. The Diner was originally commissioned for Channel 4 as Kitchen Impossible with Michel Roux Jr. The series follows a world-class chef who mentors a group of young people with disabilities as they attempt to break into the hospitality industry. Twofour Rights sells both the format and finished tape.

Twofour Rights’ Eniela Bella, who brokered the deal, said, “The Diner is a feel-good format that inspires conversation. We’re thrilled it translates so well internationally and are looking forward to its second outing on Net5.”
