TV Formats Screenings Festival: Something Special

Korean formats continue to make waves across the globe, and one of the buzziest new entries in that space is Something Special’s reality game show Battle in the Box, which is featured in the TV Formats Screenings Festival.

“Since the news broke in September about UKTV’s commissioning order, which features beloved comic Jimmy Carr, everyone has been eagerly waiting to see it,” says Praise ChanMi Shin, VP and head of sales and licensing.

“The show is simple and entertaining, appealing to audiences of all ages. Optioned in Germany, with more to come,” ChanMi Shin adds.

Something Special is also showcasing a mystery-solving reality game-show concept called Still Alive.
