HILVERSUM: TVA is adapting The Voice Kids for French-speaking Canada, having licensed the format from Talpa.

The series is based on the global hit The Voice. The family-oriented version features young vocalists.

The news of the TVA deal follows on the announcement that Zee Network has acquired the show in India. After its initial launch in the Netherlands, the hit format is now in production in more than 30 territories, ranging from France, Russia, Germany, Colombia, U.S. (Hispanic) and the Middle East. The Voice Kids will start on ITV in the U.K. in 2017.
