The Restaurant That Makes Mistakes Set for Dutch Version

Red Arrow Studios International has sold the new social-experiment format The Restaurant That Makes Mistakes to Talpa TV in the Netherlands.

The local version of The Restaurant That Makes Mistakes commissioned by Talpa TV will be produced by Concept Street for SBS6. In Belgium, the format has been licensed to the production company Roses are Blue. The series was originally created and produced by Red Arrow Studio’s CPL Productions, with the U.K. version starring chef Josh Eggleton airing on Channel 4.

The Restaurant That Makes Mistakes sees a group of people living with dementia helping to run a restaurant over a five-week period. As the group cooks, takes orders, serves and makes drinks, celebrities and ordinary members of the public dine at the restaurant that’s led by an esteemed chef with a dementia expert on hand to advise. The show, which aims to change perceptions about the condition, conducts cognition, mood and memory tests on the volunteers before and after the experiment that yield surprising results.
