DR1 in Denmark is getting its own local adaptation of The A Talks, initially launched in France as Les Rencontres du Papotin.

Strong Productions, a Fremantle company, is producing the local adaptation, titled En Særlig Samtale (A Special Interview). Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen and local singer Thomas Helmig are the show’s first two guests to be interviewed by a group of atypical journalists.

The agreement, signed by CAN’T STOP media, follows the recent launch of the format’s first foreign adaptation, Autentyczni, on Warner Bros. Discovery’s TVN in Poland. In Spain, the format premiered as 100% Unicos on Telecinco, with Antonio Banderas as the first guest. In France, a second season has been airing on France 2 since September.
