Televisa Internacional Expands Formats Catalogue

MEXICO CITY: Televisa Internacional has added four new titles to its format slate, including a game show and a reality series.

The Wacky Old Games is a game show inspired by actual traditions and rituals from around the world, while My Online Friends follows a host who seeks out the contacts on his social media networks. The talent show Mini Me pairs celebrities and kid performers, and The Ticket uses an app to find contestants.

The new titles are “formats that solve the scheduling and content needs of each specific client,” said Ricardo Ehrsam, the entertainment formats global director at Televisa Internacional. These offerings will allow the formats division "to continue gaining ground in the industry and carry on increasing its number of territories," he said.
