Emmy-winning executive producer Jack Burgess has been elevated to president of Studio Lambert’s U.S. business.
Burgess has been with Studio Lambert for ten years, having run its unscripted development department in the U.K. for four years before joining its Los Angeles office in 2018. As executive VP, he has overseen the development and production of the company’s U.S. output.
“Jack is a star creative executive,” said Stephen Lambert, chief executive of Studio Lambert. “Since moving to Los Angeles, he has developed deep relationships with the U.S. buying and production community. Everyone loves working with him because he has great taste, knows what needs doing and makes it happen calmly and efficiently.”
“I’ve worked with Jack for more than 15 years,” said Tim Harcourt, chief creative officer. “I am thrilled he continues to make strides in his U.S. role. Jack is the unscripted version of a triple threat. He knows how to develop a great idea, how to sell it and how to produce it as great content.”
The All3Media-backed company is currently in production on season four of The Traitors for Peacock. Squid Game: The Challenge is reordered for a second season with Netflix, and the second season of the company’s scripted comedy series Boarders will be released soon on Tubi.
