French Commission for A Party To Die For

The murder mystery format A Party To Die For from ITV Studios and Talpa Studios has landed its first international commission, with M6 opting for a version in France.

Murder Party au Musée will be produced by ITV Studios France to air on M6. The French order comes as SBS6 in the Netherlands goes for a second season.

The French adaptation is in production at the Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle in Paris with host Francis Huster. The event will follow as celebrities look to unmask a fictional killer.

Pierre Guillaume Ledan, deputy managing director of unscripted programming at the M6 Group, said: “We immediately loved this format because it ticks so many boxes: it’s a concept that feels very current, reminiscent of a famous mystery game but with real staging, humor, and suspense. It’s a family-friendly, intergenerational show that can bring together young and old around a life-sized whodunit.”
