The French adaptation of Global Agency’s Is That Really Your Voice? had a strong start on TF1 on Friday, July 17, with an 18.2 percent share of viewers 4-plus.

Good Singers scored 3.2 million viewers, a 40-percent increase for the same slot on the channel a week earlier. It secured a 30-percent share among women 50 and up, 26 percent in 25 to 49, 40 percent in the 4 to 14 demo and 32 percent in 15 to 24.

The format, created by Izzet Pinto, founder and CEO of Global Agency, is hosted by Jarry in France. In it, singers try to impress the celebrity judges without actually singing in the first place.

“TF1 worked very hard during the pandemic period and created a great production of our format,” Pinto said. “This French adaptation of Is That Really Your Voice? is seeing great demand worldwide. I really believe that it will be the next big thing!”

Julien Degroote, head of content development at TF1 Group, added, “We are very satisfied with the launch of Good Singers on TF1. This show has all the qualities to complete our line-up of successful entertainment shows such as Dancing with the Stars, The Masked Singer, The Voice… The success on all key commercial targets shows that Good Singers is resolutely a premium co-viewing family entertainment show. The collaboration of the Global Agency teams to best adapt their format to our market and their creativity have been invaluable support.”
