A local version of Armoza Formats’ singing competition The Four is set to air in Romania on Antena 1 this month.

The Romanian adaptation will consist of 12 episodes. The prime-time singing competition, which was developed and is distributed by Armoza Formats, has been renewed for a second season on FOX in the U.S.

Isabella Carmu, the CEO of Antena TV Group, said, “Antena 1 means top-quality entertainment, so it was natural for us to acquire a strong, out-of-the-box format and to offer our viewers a unique experience locally tailored by one of our top production teams.”

Avi Armoza, the CEO of Armoza Formats, added, “A year after the launch of The Four, we continue to see the strength of its unique and fresh take on prime-time singing competitions. We look forward to the format’s continued success and are thrilled Antena 1 is bringing it to Romania.”
