Red Arrow Studios International has revealed some of the highlights from its catalog of unscripted formats that will be available to the international market at MIPCOM.

Leading the company’s unscripted offering, Love for the Ages is a new take on the relationship format. Originally produced by Kinetic Content for Tplus (U.S.), the show sees three middle-aged married couples, each at a crossroads in their relationships, attempt to inject some youthful energy back into their lives by swapping their spouses for partners 20 years younger.

Red Arrow Studios International is also presenting Hold the Front Page from CPL Productions for Sky Max (U.K.). In this new factual-entertainment format, two celebrities set off around the country in search of scoops, scandals and surprising stories as they explore the unique and often sensational world of local news.

Old People’s Home for Teenagers, a new social experiment and spin-off to the hit Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds, is also a highlight. The new format is produced by Endemol Shine Australia for ABC (Australia). It sees older adults brought together with teenagers in an attempt to transform their lives and combat their shared sense of social exclusion and loneliness.

Additional highlights include the new reality format My New Mystery Job, produced by Stepping Stone Productions for NPO3 (Netherlands), which sees a group of participants sign up for a career change without knowing what it is.

The X Experiment is a new social-experiment format produced by Deutsche ProduktionsUnion (DPU) for ProSieben (Germany) that follows a well-respected and credible presenter as they set out to explore contemporary, socially relevant issues by pushing themselves to the limit in extreme investigations.

Celebrity Career Challenge from Redseven Entertainment for ProSieben (Germany) is a travel and adventure prime-time challenge format that puts teams of celebrities to the test as they attempt to learn new jobs in a different country.

Tim Gerhartz, president and managing director at Red Arrow Studios International, said: “As we gear up for MIPCOM 2022, it’s fantastic to share the wide-ranging slate of unscripted formats we’ll be bringing to the market, which is very much in keeping with the noisy, innovative and watercooler shows that buyers have come to expect from us. Across the titles, we hope to offer something to suit all buyers and scheduling needs—ranging from the high-stakes of Love for the Ages, the addictive game of cat and mouse in Claim to Fame, right through to the heartwarming Old People’s Home for Teenagers.”
