Prime Video has greenlit the new two-part, horror-themed competition baking special Killer Cakes, with Matthew Lillard (Scream, Five Nights at Freddy’s) to host.

From Blumhouse and Cake Boss creator High Noon Entertainment, Killer Cakes will see contestants work with horror special effects artists to create disgusting and disturbing cakes. The new title is set to debut exclusively on Prime Video on October 8.

Judges will include Danielle Harris (Halloween) and experimental food artist and cookbook author Nikk Alcaraz (Peculiar Baking).

In addition to his role as host, Lillard also serves as executive producer. Ruth Amsel is showrunner for the two-parter, with Jason Blum and Gretchen Palek serving as executive producers for Blumhouse Television and Scott Feely for High Noon Entertainment.
