MasterChef Scores Four-Season Order in India

Sun Network in India has ordered Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada editions of the hit cookery format MasterChef.

The four seasons will be produced by Endemol Shine India for Innovative Film Academy (IFA) and will air on Sun Network. MasterChef India Tamil, MasterChef India Telugu, MasterChef India Malayalam and MasterChef India Kannada will launch later this year.

Vijay Sethupathi will host the Tamil version. Tamannaah Bhatia will present MasterChef India Telugu. Prithviraj Sukumaran will front MasterChef India Malayalam. Kichcha Sudeep will lead MasterChef Kannada.

The four iterations will be filmed in Bangalore, and each version will be adapted for the unique and individual cultures, food and craft of their state.

The MasterChef format and finished programs are represented internationally by Banijay Rights.
