MasterChef Being Adapted for French Canada

Banijay Rights has inked a deal that will see MasterChef getting a local production in French Canada.

Pixcom will produce the local version, in collaboration with Quebecor Content, for the Canadian French-language network TVA. The first season of MasterChef Quebec is slated to air in early 2024.

The new version of the hit culinary competition will bring together cooking enthusiasts who’ve never worked in a restaurant, pitting them against each other as they prepare a variety of dishes to impress renowned culinary judges. The season’s winner will walk away with a C$50,000 ($37,000) grand prize and the MasterChef trophy.

MasterChef has been commissioned across 68 markets, with more than 10,000 episodes broadcast to date.
