Lip Sync Battle to Get Local Treatment in the Philippines

SINGAPORE: Viacom International Media Networks has concluded a deal with GMA for a local adaptation of the format Lip Sync Battle in the Philippines.

This deal represents the fourth local production of Lip Sync Battle. The adaptation is set to broadcast in the Philippines in February. On the show, viewers look on as celebrities go head-to-head lip-syncing the song of their choice to see who can do it better. Local versions of Lip Sync Battle are also available in Indonesia, China and Vietnam.

Lip Sync Battle is executive produced for Spike TV in the U.S. by Casey Patterson of Casey Patterson Entertainment, Jay Peterson of Matador Content, John Krasinski, Stephen Merchant and Eight Million Plus Productions.
