Colorado Film has acquired the rights for the dance format My Dance Crew for Italy and Italian-speaking territories in Europe.

The 8×45-minute series, which aired on TV2, gives eight celebrities the chance to join their own dance crew. Professional members of a dance crew will be responsible for orchestrating performances and transforming the celebrities into full-fledged dancers. Over the course of eight weeks, the celebrities and the crews they’ve joined will compete to perform the best possible dance routine live each week.

Vivek Lath, founder and managing director of GoQuest Media Ventures, which owns the series’ worldwide distribution rights, said, “We are thrilled to see My Dance Crew acquired by Colorado Film. This format with celebrities pairing with their crews is a clever new take on a familiar world of celebrity dance shows, and we believe it will resonate with viewers everywhere.”
