Italian Deal for Kids Got Talent

LONDON: Sky Italia has commissioned FremantleMedia Italy to produce Kids Got Talent for the free-to-air channel TV8.

The format allows kids under the age of 11 to showcase their talents. There is no competition or judging panel. The series will be hosted by Claudio Bisio, a judge on the Italian version of Got Talent.

Italy’s Got Talent has been very successful, due in part to the fact [that] it’s a family-orientated show which children love,” said Lorenzo Mieli, CEO of FremantleMedia Italy. “They are the biggest supporters of the series and we wanted to offer them their own stage. We decided to make it non-competitive to emphasize the fun aspect, enabling the children to perform their talent without having to worry about the opinions of the judges.”
