Ambulance, an Endemol Shine Group format, has been commissioned in Israel, where it will air on Reshet.

Endemol Shine Israel will produce the eight-episode local version, which will give insight into front-line emergency medical teams. This new deal follows the recent news that Endemol Shine North America has been ordered by CBS to produce a series in the U.S.

Amir Ganor, the CEO of Endemol Shine Israel, said: “Ambulance gives viewers an unrivaled look at city life from the perspective of the ambulance service. We loved the U.K. show from the very beginning and we plan to replicate their ratings success with this format that brings the style of drama to factual programming.”

Lisa Perrin, the CEO of Creative Networks at Endemol Shine Group, added, “We have a very strong creative pipeline and it’s brilliant to sign a deal for a new show making its international debut at MIPTV. Ambulance is a high-quality factual concept which [has] been a ratings winner in the U.K., and with CBS and now Reshet on board there is a great buzz around the format here in Cannes.”

Erez Beb Harush, the VP of content at Reshet, said, “As we continue our investment in the docu-reality genre, we are delighted to give this new and fresh format a home. This is an exciting format that fits the complex Israeli society like a glove.”
