Dublin-based media and entertainment company BiggerStage has partnered with FOX Alternative Entertainment for the second season of FOX’s Name That Tune revival.

The two companies jointly produced the new season in Dublin, marking the first time an Irish producer has been awarded a prime-time entertainment show for a U.S. network. Season two, hosted by Tony Award-winning actor Jane Krakowski and Randy Jackson, is set to premiere on FOX on March 29.

Five celebrity episodes are included in the new season, featuring Kelly Osbourne, Shaggy, Mel B, Tituss Burgess, JoJo, Frankie Muniz and Jennie Garth.

Season two was led by BiggerStage’s Shane Byrne as show runner and Sean O’Riordan as executive producer. The show is co-produced with FOX Alternative Entertainment and Prestige Entertainment.

This is the second creative partnership between BiggerStage and FOX Alternative Entertainment, following last year’s collaboration on The Big Deal for Ireland’s Virgin Media Television.

Pat Kiely, founder and CEO of BiggerStage, said: “This new collaboration with FAE on the heels of The Big Deal confirms that our mission to establish a creative hub in Dublin for major international productions has real value in a global marketplace seeking more efficient models. In terms of empowering Ireland to play on a bigger stage, we couldn’t wish for a better vehicle than an all-time format great like Name That Tune for one of the biggest networks in the world.”

Allison Wallach, executive VP and head of FOX Alternative Entertainment, said: “We pride ourselves on our commitment to innovation and quality in everything we deliver for audiences here in the U.S. and abroad, and in this partnership with BiggerStage, we have found both. Name That Tune is one of the most established and enduring formats on the planet, and this season promises to be its best.”
