The Bulgarian commercial network bTV has ordered a local adaptation of the game-show format Guess My Age.

Since its launch in 2016 in France on C8, the format will now have seen 19 local versions. More than 2,500 episodes have been produced globally, with multiple seasons in countries such as Italy, Spain, Thailand and Hungary.

Damien Porte, partner at CAN’T STOP media, which distributes the format, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Bulgaria in the family of countries where the show has been adapted. We’re betting on a success that will help revive the brand in a number of CEE countries where the show has previously aired and convince fresh ones to go for it.”

Ralf Bartoleit, CEO of bTV Media Group, added: “bTV Media Group is a company that successfully brings popular global show formats to the Bulgarian market. We continue to invest in new and high-quality entertainment shows for our viewers. That’s why we are delighted to welcome Guess My Age to our lineup. This type of content is perfect for both viewers and advertisers. I am delighted that it is bTV that will soon be offering the new show that brings more positive and entertaining emotions to the whole family.”
