Vivendi Entertainment has licensed the game-show format Guess My Age to Mediaset in Spain for a local daily version to air soon on Cuatro.

The adaptation, titled Concurso del Año, will be co-produced by BulldogTV and Mediaset and presented by Dani Martínez. It marks the 13th treatment of Guess My Age, which looks on as contestants try to correctly identify the ages of strangers for the chance to win a cash prize.

Matthieu Porte, Vivendi’s executive VP of international and development, remarked: “We’ve launched Guess My Age thinking this format will be a great fit for daily slots. The success in Italy on Sky’s TV8, but also in France, Slovakia and in Hungary, confirmed this strategy and we are delighted Mediaset and Bulldog believe in it as well for Spain. Our next target is to reach the 1,000-episode mark.”
