Discovery to Showcase Expanded Formats Slate at MIPCOM

Discovery has unveiled its fall and winter lifestyle formats lineup that is slated to be presented at MIPCOM in October.

Discovery’s highlights at MIPCOM will include Food Network’s Beat Bobby Flay, Chopped and Guy’s Grocery Games with Guy Fieri. From HGTV, Discovery will present House Hunters and Kitchen Crashers. Naked and Afraid from Discovery Channel and TLC’s Drag Me Down the Aisle will also be on the slate. This year’s MIPCOM will mark the first time that the Discovery program sales team will showcase its lineup of lifestyle formats since the company’s 2018 acquisition of Scripps.

Elliot Wagner, senior VP of program sales at Discovery, said: “Discovery is known for owning the greatest collection of non-fiction IP in the international media industry. We deliver content to consumers in passion areas that include a range of lifestyle and factual content, and this year at MIPCOM we are excited to present that impressive suite of content to programming partners for local adaptation.”
