The Afrikaans-language lifestyle channel VIA in South Africa is set to commence airing second seasons of Armoza Formats’ Date in Reverse and The Gran Plan this week.

The Gran Plan, developed by Artza Productions and Armoza Formats and created by Dafna Prenner and Shai Eines, sees a trio of grandmas become the new generation of life coaches. In each episode, the three strong-willed grandmothers tackle situations from first dates and last dates to career struggles and unhealthy addictions. Season two of the factual-entertainment format debuts today, July 20.

Created by Josefson-Volley Formats, Shenhar Productions Ltd. and Daniella Slavik, Date in Reverse follows two singles each week who are looking for love and get to know each other by experiencing a relationship’s most meaningful milestones—but in reverse. In one day, the couple will move backward from the marital bed and wedding reception to the first family get-together and first weekend getaway. At the end, each couple will decide whether or not they’re willing to show up for their “first date.” The second season of the dating format premieres on July 22.

Avi Amoza, CEO of Armoza Formats, said: “We are delighted to continue working on these formats with our partners at VIA after the incredible success of both The Gran Plan and Date in Reverse in South Africa and we are excited to see what they will do with the second seasons of both of these formats. ”
