Centroamérica TV Brings El Salvador’s Calle 7 to the U.S.

MIAMI: Centroamérica TV, a channel targeting the Central American community in the U.S., is due to debut its first competitive reality show, Calle 7 El Salvador.

Calle 7 El Salvador looks on as 20 men and women compete in a series of physical challenges over the course of four months for the chance to win a cash prize. Centroamérica TV has teamed up with El Salvador’s TCS (Telecorporación Salvadoreña) to bring the popular Latin American franchise to U.S. Hispanic viewers. The show premieres tonight at 8 p.m. and will air every Monday through Friday.

Francisco Gimenez, the general manager of networks for Hemisphere Media Group, Centroamérica TV’s parent company, commented: “We are extremely excited to team up with TCS to bring U.S. audiences our new series Calle 7. This format has been an enormous hit throughout Latin America and we are confident it will be a great success among our viewers.”
