Red Arrow International has secured a number of deals across the globe for its new reality format Buying Blind, including with Nine in Australia.

This first round of international sales include Nine Network, which has commissioned the show for Australia, to be produced by Endemol Shine Australia and broadcast next year. The format landed a commission from RTL Netherlands, with the search for casting getting underway later this month. Broadcasters in France and Belgium also picked up the series.

Created by Kinetic Content in the U.S. and produced by Snowman Productions, Buying Blind recently proved to be a hit on TV3 Denmark. The format follows as a family put their life savings in the hands of experts to buy them a home, without ever having seen it.

Henrik Pabst, the managing director of Red Arrow International, said: “Buying Blind is exhilarating, emotional, high-stakes television—joining families in one of the most important moments of their lives. The format reinvents a whole genre, and has everything which makes great TV, from reality elements and plenty of drama, to property search and stunning home transformations. We’re delighted that it is selling so well around the world.”
