Blind Duets Set for Vietnam

The prime-time entertainment show Blind Duets is getting a local treatment in Vietnam, with singer and actor Bạch Công Khanh set to host.

MEGA GS Communications is producing a local version of the Global Agency format for Vinh Long TV. The first episode will air on May 6 and will feature a celebrity jury.

Created by Gila Kantar and Izzet Pinto, Blind Duets brings four celebrity singers in the jury together to perform with 12 contestants in a prime-time game show filled with surprises, talent and entertaining rivalry between the star performers.

Pinto, CEO of Global Agency, said, “I am very happy that our format will come to life in a powerful country like Vietnam. Vietnam has always been home to shiny-floor formats in the past. One of our singing shows, Remix, has also had its world premiere in Vietnam, and later on it became an International Emmy-nominated project, so I believe that Vietnam is the right country to kickstart the franchise.”
