Big Brother Canada Gets Tenth Season

Big Brother Canada is returning for a tenth season on Global.

Produced by Insight Productions, a Boat Rocker company, in association with Corus Entertainment and Banijay, the green light comes after a ninth season that delivered its most diverse cast ever, with Tychon Carter-Newman making history as the first Black winner of Big Brother Canada.

Big Brother Canada season ten will debut on Global in spring 2022. Season nine is available on BigBrotherCanada.ca and on the Global TV App, also available on STACKTV.

“Following an incredibly successful season with our most diverse cast, the highest number of brand integrations, and the most innovative show twists to date—all while shooting during a pandemic—we are proud to greenlight another new season of Big Brother Canada,” said Lisa Godfrey, senior VP of original content and Corus Studios. “Together with our talented partners at Insight Productions, we look forward to delivering Canadians another wild season of one of the most-talked-about original series in Canada.”

Jane Rimer, senior VP for Canada at Banijay Rights, commented: “We are delighted to have struck this historic deal for a tenth season of Big Brother Canada and are thrilled to continue our longstanding partnership with Corus on this brand. This is a landmark moment for an incredibly successful format, which continues to have an enduring appeal for audiences worldwide.”
