TEL AVIV: Armoza Formats has added to its catalog the new social-experiment format Sex Tape, which aims to help couples work through their relationship problems by revealing their most intimate moments with others.

Sex Tape was a finalist at Armoza Formats’ annual Formagination competition, pitched by sexologist Dr. Shelly Varod with the premise that a couple’s sex life mirrors the issues in their relationship. For the last six months, Armoza has taken it through a fast-track development process to launch it in time for MIPTV.

Avi Armoza, the CEO of Armoza Formats, said: “Sex Tape takes a universally relatable topic of relationship issues and addresses it with a unique, dynamic and irresistibly engaging approach. The goal of Formagination is to identify fresh new ideas, which we know can come from anywhere, and to commit to bringing them to life—we feel that Sex Tape is the perfect example of this.”
