Armoza Formats has secured new deals for the studio game-show format Family Piggy Bank in Portugal and Greece.

Fremantle Portugal and Silverline Media Productions in Greece have picked up the local rights to Family Piggy Bank, which is produced by Armoza Formats and Gamechanger’s Nimrod Harel and Yaron Yashinsky. The format sees one family’s knowledge and trust in each other put to the test as they work together to try to fill their piggy bank.

One main contestant, with the help of four family members, goes through three rounds of trivia. In round one, contestants earn money. In round two, they try to multiply it, and in the final round, the family tries to cash out their piggy banks.

Nick Kalis, CEO of Silverline Media Productions, said: “Family Piggy Bank is a great family show, with an outstanding production value and low costs, and we look forward to it being a smash hit in Greece.”

Salome Peillon, head of sales at Armoza Formats, said: “The ultimate family game show comes to life with Family Piggy Bank. This innovative format is truly enjoyable for the whole family and uses unique technology to make this a must-have game show. We look forward to seeing it in both Greece and Portugal.”
